Q: Help I live in Texas!!

It is hot, humid, and dry all at the same time, 5 minutes on stage and I'm sweating like a pig, and I am supposedly using the good stuff and my hair which is thin and frizzy looks like it went through WWIII! What can I do to battle the elements?

A: Do you notice that your hair looks the best when you first come out of the shower and it's all wet? Then after a few hours, when your hair is dry, it becomes dull and frizzy?

This happens to all types of hair whether it's straight or curly. The problem with curly hair is that the texture is usually more porous and fragile. Therefore, intense conditioning is extremely important. Finish the home treatments that you have and begin using Curlisto Deep Therapy Masque, a very concentrated home treatment you can do while you've in the shower (only takes 8 min). Use it once per week for 6-7 weeks. After that, you may cut down to once every two weeks. Be patient and slowly your hair will transform.

Now that you have treated your hair internally, your next step is to style it right to achieve a clean and healthy look. In your case, I would suggest Curlisto Structura Lotion to control the humidity and frizziness and Curlisto Bio-Gel Mousse for light, soft hold. If you need something with a stronger hold, try Curlisto Control I. Apply products by sections, and try to piece out your hair into individual strands for more defined look. Diffuse to set in the style, scrunch and apply Curlisto Unruly Paste to finish.

All products are available on the web at http://www.curlisto.com

Q: How do you get eyelashes really really long? but not clumpy!!

A: okay so who hasn't tried different mascaras...well I know I have !!! Not on me of course..But I have been doing make up for over 5 years and have practically been thru them all...But now I found something that does the trick your looking for +++ Paul & Joe, makes this mascara duo http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...dPaginate=true it that does wonders. One side has a volume wand with fiber particles ( for those full runway lashes) and the other side has the comb wand to part the lashes and elongate those puppies to the sky...you must try !!! (move over maybeline) use the length-ing side first then if you want volume flip that babie over .... and bat away.

Q: Eye Makeup

I was wondering if there are any good eye shadows that are really, really bright that will make people go wow and that will last. So I was wondering if you could tell me some great eye shadows to use.

A: I sent your question over to Scott Vincent Borba, who is the President and Beauty Expert for e.l.f. Eyes Lips. Face Comestics. Scott has invented and launched numerous cosmetic lines, including hard Candy, Neutrogena for Men and Lip Nutrition. He’s been a Ford model, and in recent years has become known in the Beauty Industry as an innovator and cosmetic specialist whiz.

His product suggestions come from his own line e.l.f. Eyes. Lips. Face. You can visit them on the web at http://www.eyeslipsface.com

Scott wrote back, our Non-Stop Eye color in Silver Lining is excellent because you can layer the three lighter shades on the upper lid and the darkest shade can be used as a smokey liner in both the lower and the upper lash lines.

**His line is VERY cheap. $1.00 and is suppose be available at Target soon. I think his stuff cute too.

Q: Perfume Making

I read about perfumes making. If you please send me jasmine and rose formula. I am perfumer. Thank you.

A: Thanks for taking the time to write in asking about a fragrance formula for a jasmine and rose perfume. Since you've been reading a bit about perfume making you may have noticed that there are many different recipes out there.

My best suggestion to you is to take a look at The Essential Oils Book by Collen K. Dodt - Storey Books ISBN 9780882669137. In the book you'll find a few recipes for fragrances that you can adapt to your personal taste. It's full of information on how to blend and what to do as well as not to do when creating your personal fragrance.

You may also want to stop by a shop called Aphrodesia at 264 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10014, 212-989-6440. They have a lot of essential oils in stock and can probably give you good advice.

I might need to try that mascara!

Thanks for the tips...
