At what age can children bathe by themselves?

At what age do you think a child can properly bathe/shower by himself or herself? I just don't think my daughter is ready, especially when it comes to washing her hair, and I can't see her taking a shower by herself at all! LOL We usually just give her a bath but on occasion she & I will jump in the shower together if we're in a hurry.

Anyway, just wanted some others' thoughts on this. Thanks!
