Creme de la Mer is raved by a lot of celebrities as the best face cream out there. Any thoughts on Creme de la Mer? rants or raves? I used up a sample I had a couple of years ago and I don't think it made that much of a difference in my skin. I think it's totally overpriced (retails for $150).

I read about NASA inventor of this stuff & apparently it works wonders...it better for the price. There's an entire web site dedicated to it, simply www.cremedelamer.com. Another question: anyone tried Strivectin? It's by the Klein-Becker company as an alternative to botox...I had a sample & it seems to have reduced dryness & fine lines around my eyes. Originally touted as a stretch-mark eliminator, it also works wonders on lines & wrinkles. Cheaper than Creme de la Mer to be sure, but pricey nevertheless. Just went ot Barnes & Noble & thumbed thru a soft-cover beauty tips book...it's new by Diane somebody...basic stuff works without all the fancy doodads though it's nice to find a new tool for the anti-aging arsenal.

I think it is overpriced too! I tried it once but it is not for my skintype.
Maybe this will help:
