<TR><TD class=tt11 vAlign=top colSpan=3>Too many things in life are fleeting, especially in this age of disposable everything: Income, clothing, celebrities, significant others, you name it. It's about time something lasted more than half a nanosecond, especially when it's your eyeshadow. Whether it creases, cakes, or just mysteriously disappears into thin air, the odds are your shadow doesn't make it past dusk. To the rescue: Eyeshadow primer. A perennial secret of makeup artists that's finally seeping into the mainstream, primers go on underneath shadow to prevent the skin's natural oils from turning your lids into a shadow slip'n slide, while keeping the color from creasing in the process. Added Bonus: "Primers prevent shadow shade changes, so your color stays true all day," says Sandy Hawes, director of sales and marketing for Amazing Cosmetics. Now if only they had primers for boyfriends.</TD></TR><TR><TD>

This double-ended wand prevents shadow from premature fading, bleeding, and creasing. Turn it right around and do the same thing for your lipstick.

Wow thanks for that interesting post. The picture is nice too as it shows another make up look (something ime alway's interested in). I have Gale Hayman's eyeshdow primer.I also have Models Prefer eye and lip primer. They are great products!

I heard that UD's primer is really good but haven't tried it. Have you tried Benefit's Lemon aid?

I'd recommend Benefit's FY.. EYE for oily lids and Lemon Aid for normal to dry lids. FY EYE has a powdery feeling to it and lemon aid is more of a concealer that turns into a slightly powdery substance.

Thank you Scarlette!

I didn't know about the FY Eye and it sounds more like the one I should try.
