I´ve been using MAC`s in Golden for a while, but it might be too light&subtle for me when I´m getting more tan in spring/summer.

so i think I wanna try a different brand.

any suggestions???

do you want something shimmery or matte?

i have a mac bronzer that's matte, btu i don't think they sell it anymore. i think hoola from benefit is matte also. but it's dark. those are the only ones i know of.

my sister just got stila's bronzer in #1, the lightest shade, and it doesn't come out orange. you should try #2.

too bad I don´t have access to Stila ;-(

and I want something shimmery, but not glittery.

and I don´t want to order online cause I like to look at the products before I buy them.

brands I can get over here are Bobby Brown,Estee Lauder,Chanel,Shiseido,TBS, YSL,Dior,Clinique (can´t think of any more)

I like the irridescent loose bronzing powders by MAC. I mix a bit in with my moisturizer and I get nice even color, not too sparkly. I use the Refined golden (I think)

A cheaper alternative is the bronzer by the Body Shop. It has bronzing beads and gives great natural color, not orangy. I used that before the MAC.

too bad you can't get NARs since Laguna bronzer is like their big bronzer

I don´t get it..we have MAC and BB too. I should write a letter to all those brands that we can´t get and tell them to open counters in Vienna.

i prefer matte cus i hate the damn sparkles on my face makes me thinki am shiney and i get nervous.

bonnie bell has a good matte one i use golden tan

my salon sells one that has shimmers to it california tan suddenly sun that's pretty good for those who like a bit of shimmer.

physicians formula makes a good one that is more on the matte side too i have that one also.

they all look very natural i wear them as a powder since i tan year round so i dust some on then finish with a bit of mac blot

I guess, but I don´t have a credit card and since I financially depend on my dad he wouldn´t approve of me getting one ;-(guess he still remembers how I abused it when I had one when I was an exchange student in the US...those were the days

the use of only cash has kept me at a sane level of obsession if i had a CC i'd seriously be living in a box with a bunch of make up.

yes i would wouldn't i lol it'd be me and my stash lol i'd be the best lookin homeless person around

i'd be that bag lady with the shopping cart but instead of hauling around junk i'd have my make up and a mirror, perfumes and my chinchillas lol they'd have to settle for a smaller cage then instead of the big one they have now.

I love NARS Casino but as you said you don't have access to it.

I also like Shiseido Golden Bronze powder - comes in a compact with three colours in it. You swirl them together and it gives a nice healthy look to the skin.

Arielle, if you have access to Armani, try their Sheer Powder Bronzer #1. It's not too shimmery, but gives the perfect bronzey glow.

Also, if you have acess to drugstore/chemist brands, check out Bonne Bell Glimmer Bronze in Gold n Glitz. That's my ultimate favorite b/c it casts a soft shimmer & the bronze effect doesn't make anyone look orange...unless of course, the user has a heavy hand.
