what are some nice (cheap under 5$) goodies I can hand out to friends for christmas? keep in mind i need about 8 or so and I still have to buy full priced presents for my family (6 people)

Just a card would be nice

Small lotion from bath and body

you could always buy each of your friends a coffee mug and buy(or make...i have a recipe if you'd like it) Cocoa mix to give with them

I think the coffee mug idea is great - especially in the winter.

A gift I got one year (I think it was actually a birthday gift) that I really cherished, and I doubt it was very expensive, was a framed picture of two girls with a saying about friendship - I think it may have been a greeting card she matted and framed. But places like Wal-Mart have pretty inexpensive frames...
