It also works great with another strong colour for a graphical look. Red and bronze we've seen, but I quite like red and navy or red and teal!

I recently bought a cranberry red (MAC Cranberry e/s) because I think that would suit me better than a bright cherry red...

Anywho, that's a good red to get if you're just testing the red e/s waters. *lol
