I am not vegan nor am I vegetarian I guess I what is called flexitarian. I just like to try new and different things. I also love to cook and experiment. I attend vegan, heart healthy and sometimes macrobiotic cooking classes and raw food workshops at my local health food store. I started going mainly as a curiosity but now I am hooked. The raw foods are simply wonderful and the flavors are so much more intense than cooked foods, but some of them are a lot of work, soaking, dehydrating etc.

I started looking into raw foods too because I wanted to find some new and interesting recipes. Although I find some of the health beliefs that raw food people have seem awfully superstitious. Good tasty food though!
